General Information
We reserve the right to alter the order or inclusions of itineraries for operational and safety reasons. We reserve the right cancel tours based on operational or safety reasons. Our tours are not suitable for children under 8 years of age and we reserve the right to refuse to carry passengers under this age. We reserve the right to use an alternate operator of a similar tour for operational reasons.  Refunds are not given by Tours Tasmania unless a tour fails to depart.

Short Walks
Our tours visit National Parks and wild areas that involve some walking. They are suitable for people with a reasonable level of fitness.

Weather Conditions
Tasmania is subject to weather conditions that can change quickly at any time of year. We operate tours in the rain and snow, so we recommend that guests bring clothing and footwear suitable for warm, cold or wet conditions.  We operate tours in all weather conditions and reserve the right to alter itineraries if the weather conditions on the day deem this to be necessary for either operational or safety reasons, refunds are not given when itineraries alter.

Minimum Numbers
We reserve the right to cancel departures if we do not have sufficient numbers of passengers for travel.

Cancellation by customer
Tours Tasmania will charge as follows:
cancellation 48 hours or less before departure – no refund
48 hours – 7 days prior to departure – 50% refund
8 – 30 days prior to departure – 75% refund
No shows or missed tours – no refund

Requests to change tour departure date within 7 days of departure, may be subject to the cancellation policy.  Alterations without fees/charges are at the discretion of management.

Insurance
We strongly recommend that passengers travel with travel insurance that protects their financial commitments against illness, injury, loss/damage to personal belongings and travel plans.

Liability
We make every effort to safeguard our guests, however we cannot be held responsible for personal injury or sickness, to any passenger or damage, loss of property or other events.
